Day Dreams is one of my recent series of drawings, born as a result of a perceptual experiment.
Using previously made colored blot sheets with repeating abstract patterns, I proceed on creating images, bringing to focus clearly demarked forms from the random marks.
These colored drawings are created as Rorschach test, where, when a subject is confronted with a series of inkblot images, his subconscious projects an image that demarks clearly from the abstract inkblot.
The colored steins are a pretext, a starting point for the creation of the image.
I potentiate this image; I bring the forms to the surface of the stain, by drawing them, by completing the form that I see in the colored mark.
All these images are as dreams brought to paper from my subconscious visual memories.
